de Houston – 2007 Website Advertisements
Some of our website visitors have
expressed their desire to advertise in our website. Casa Argentina de
Houston (CAH) is a non-profit organization, and as such, it is simpler
to accept donations than to sell a service. The tax liabilities are
different. Donations towards a Scholarship Fund will be accepted and
the donation will be recognized in our website.
Donations from Sponsors to Support a Scholarship:
In 2007, the income produced by this type of sponsorship will be used to
fund a scholarship, to help a High School student in the Houston area.
These contributions are not the sole source of funding.
Amount and Duration of Donations:
Amount of donations and the related ads in our website are suggested in
this page below. The Sponsor is not required to fund the Scholarship in
its totality, and it can discontinue its contribution at any time.
All other donations, in any amount, and to pay for Pampero advertisement
on-line, press the button immediately below and enter your donation amount.
Accounting:
There will be no contract signed between the
Sponsor and CAH, but the Sponsor can request information on collected
and disbursed funds. It is possible that the Board of Directors decides
to retain a percentage of the collections for administrative expenses
(never exceeding 15%).
Donation payments can be done with a check or on-line. CAH will provide
the Sponsor a receipt if required.
Acceptance / Refusal of Ads:
CAH reserves the right to accept, refuse or discontinue the
advertisement and the links, if any. If the content of the ad or link
is changed by the Sponsor or its agency, and it becomes of a
questionable nature to CAH, as per its own criteria, CAH will cancel the
publication but retain the donation.
Some Technical Details:
Artwork:
The Sponsor provides the artwork as per the guidelines in this webpage.
CAH can accommodate other ad sizes and presentation periods, in which
case the Sponsor needs to discuss it with CAH.
Serving the Ads:
The artwork can be provided to CAH and hosted in our website, or the
advertisement can be served from the Sponsor’s server or its
advertisement agency’s server. CAH will not host executable or
interpreted code snippets, only graphical files, text files, and
Macromedia (Adobe) Flash files with or without links to the Sponsor’s
website.
Stats:
CAH’s website has a limited stats utility that the Sponsor or its Agency
can view. CAH recommends the Sponsor to use its own means of monitoring
hits, if needed. |

| Prices: |
| Prices for front-page and other_events-page
ads depend on the size of
the ad, and the location, as follows. To estimate the price of an ad in the
home page, proceed as follows: |
a) get the width and the height of your ad
in pixels (example: 240 x 120)
b) multiply these two numbers and divide by 1000 (example: 28.80)
c) This is the price of your ad per month ($ 28.80 / month)
d) Multiply by the number of months you want your ad to be published
(example: for 12 months, 12 x $ 28,80 = $ 345.60)
For your reference, the Continental Airlines ad in the
home page is 240 wide x 535 tall. |

| Prices to include your announcement
in our weekly emails: |
| Prices for this type of advertisement is
the same as for our first page. For one month we will send 4
weekly emails that include your announcement. Size of the
announcement in our emails may be reduced in size. Please be aware that
different email utilities treat graphical emails differently, and that
your announcement may not appear in the receiver's computer as designed
or intended.

| We accept Credit Cards through PayPal, or
checks. You can click on any of the boxes below and proceed to
pay. |
| File Formats: |
| The following formats are accepted:
Windows jpeg, gif, png or swf, or links to your server. Ads can
contain links to another new page in the customer's website, but should
not replace CAH's page in the browser. Emails cannot contain flash
(swf) files or GIF files not designed by CAH, or without previous
approval.

| How to buy: |
| Send your inquiry and/or files to
webmaster@casaargentina.org attaching the graphic file you
want to publish and submit payment according to the size, pressing the
corresponding button below. There are three sizes of ads
("blue size", "white size", "gold size"), and three time period plans
("one month", "six months" and "twelve months"). |
